This train's a rolling! We got to sit down with Nate Gardner, PLS & Aaron Michalenko, PLS this week to talk about their experiences providing emergency survey services for a train derailment accident that took place 7/29/2020 in Tempe, AZ. This was an around the clock operation that included scanning, drone captured imagery, 3D modeling and "on the fly" design survey services. There were plenty of challenges including numerous safety/HAZMAT concerns, air traffic as it was directly in one of the Sky Harbor Airport flight lines and a dynamic construction zone that was evolving by the minute. PJ takes a trip to the "high" country. BS has an apparent brush with death. DD throws in the towel on professional sports and now follows marbleympics.
