Between June of 1984 and August of 1985, a spree of home invasion robberies, rapes, and murders terrified residents of Los Angeles and San Francisco. The killer was given the nicknames “The Valley Intruder”, “The Walk-In Killer”, and most famously, “The Night Stalker.”

The brutal crimes and twisted motives of Richard Ramirez have inspired a number of big and small screen adaptations, including the 2002 horror film, “Nightstalker”.
