Paul commends two different servants, Timothy and Epaphroditus, as examples to follow when it comes to serving Christ.

To live is Christ, and to die is gain. These profound words, said almost 2,000 years ago, speak to the heart of a disciple of Jesus and invite us to find our lives caught up in the life of Christ.

Even in a problematic imprisonment, Paul encourages the church to proclaim the gospel with pure motives. We dissect our false motives and bring the goodwill Jesus desires for us to light.
